KHAS Economics Webinars – Bilge Erten
It is our great pleasure to host Bilge Erten at Khas Economics Webinars. Bilge Erten is an Assistant Professor of Economics and International Affairs at Northeastern University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of gender, development and international economics, with a particular focus on empirical research. Most of her work can be organized under two themes: (i) the causes and consequences of domestic violence and its transmission across generations, and (ii) the impact of globalization on structural transformation and labor market inequality in developing countries. She is an Associate Editor of Feminist Economics, and a member of the Gender and Development Initiative at Northeastern. She is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA).
